Fees and rewards
Fees
GIWA Terminal charges one fee and nothing else.
| Trading fee | 1% of every buy and every sell made from the terminal, in ETH. |
| If you joined with a referral link | 0.9% — you get 10% off, for as long as you trade. |
| Deposits, withdrawals, transfers between your wallets | No fee (only network gas). |
| Placing or cancelling a limit order | No fee (only network gas). The trading fee applies when the order fills. |
How it's charged
- Buys: the fee is taken from the amount you enter. Buying 0.1 ETH spends 0.099 ETH on the token and 0.001 ETH on the fee.
- Sells: the fee is taken from the ETH you receive.
- For market trades, your wallet sends the fee in a small separate transaction right after the trade. For on-chain limit orders, the order contract takes it when the order fills.
Where it goes
- Without a referrer: 100% to the GIWA Terminal treasury,
0xc41C62ca78F549b35b39b381b4a9994835060146. - With a referrer: 25% of the fee goes to whoever invited you and 3% to whoever invited them, through the rewards vault. The rest goes to the treasury.
Costs that aren't ours
- Network gas — paid to GIWA Chain for every transaction.
- Token tax — some tokens charge their own buy/sell tax. It goes to the token, not to us; the token header shows it when there is one.
- Launchpad and pool fees — curves and pools charge their own trading fee, built into the price you get.
