Wallets and keys
Each account can hold several wallets. You can create new ones or import an existing private key.
How your keys are protected
- Private keys are encrypted in your browser (AES-GCM) with a key derived from your password before they're synced to your account.
- The server only stores that encrypted data. GIWA Terminal never receives your private keys or your password.
- Transactions are signed in your browser and sent directly to the network.
- A copy of your encrypted data is kept on this device so the terminal opens quickly; logging out removes it.
Managing wallets
Go to Portfolio › Wallets to create, import, rename, export or remove wallets. Mark one with ★ as your primary wallet: referral rewards are claimed to it.
To move ETH between your own wallets, drag one wallet to From and another to To, enter the amount and confirm.
Export a private key
Exporting asks for your password. Anyone with a private key fully controls that wallet: never share it and never paste it into a site you don't trust.
Removing a wallet
Removing a wallet deletes it from your account. If it still holds funds or unclaimed rewards, export its key first — once removed we have no way to bring it back.
Browser wallets
You can connect MetaMask or Rabby instead of terminal wallets. Each transaction then asks for confirmation in that extension. Trading with several wallets at once only works with terminal wallets.
