Privacy and data
What we never receive
- Your private keys.
- Your password or your recovery code.
- Your email or any personal data — none is asked.
What our server stores
- Your username and a login proof derived from your password (not the password).
- Your encrypted account data: wallets, favorites, tracked wallets and settings. Without your password it can't be read.
- Your account key, encrypted twice: once with your password and once with your recovery code. Neither the password nor the code is stored.
- Your active sessions (browser/device name, when it was created and last used), so you can see and close them.
- Your referral relationships and rewards.
- Bug reports you send, with the context shown in the report form.
Connection logs
Like any website, our web server sees your IP address when you connect. It's used to limit abuse and keeps standard access logs for security; they aren't linked to your account.
What's public anyway
Everything on a blockchain is public: your wallet addresses, balances and trades can be seen by anyone in the explorer. GIWA Terminal indexes that public data to show charts, holders and trades.
This device
Your browser keeps an encrypted copy of your account data and your preferences (language, filters, chart settings) so the terminal opens quickly. Logging out removes the account copy.
