Buy and sell
Market trades
Open a token and use the panel on the right. Choose an amount of ETH to buy, or a percentage of your tokens to sell. The button shows the amount and its value in dollars; the line below shows what you'll receive.
Every card in Trenches and Trending also has a quick buy button with its own amount per column.
Where your trade goes
- Tokens on a bonding curve are bought and sold directly on the launchpad's own contract.
- Tokens in a pool trade on that pool, through the launchpad's router or through the GIWA Terminal router, which picks the pool with the best price.
- You always pay and receive ETH. If a token is paired with another token (USDC, a stock token, another meme…), the trade is routed through that pair automatically.
Presets
Three presets (P1, P2, P3) store your buy amounts, sell percentages and slippage. Edit them with ✎ in the trade panel or in Trading settings.
Slippage
Slippage is the most the price can move against you between sending the trade and its execution. If it moves more, the transaction reverts: nothing is bought or sold and you only pay network gas.
Price impact
Pools with little liquidity move a lot with each trade. When a trade would move the price more than 10%, the terminal warns you and asks you to confirm. A smaller amount has less impact.
Several wallets at once
Click the wallet counter in the trade panel and select several wallets. Buys and sells run on all of them in parallel, with the same amount in each.
The fee
Right after each buy or sell, your wallet sends the 1% fee in a small separate transaction (0.9% if you joined with a referral link). Details on Fees.
