Most new tokens on GIWA Chain are created on launchpads. This page explains how GIWA Chain launchpads work and how GiwaTerminal shows all of them in one place.
What is a memecoin launchpad?
A launchpad is an app where anyone can create a token in a few clicks: a name, a ticker, an image and links. The launchpad deploys the token contract and gives it a market from the first second, so people can buy and sell right away without the creator setting up liquidity themselves.
Bonding curves vs. tokens launched straight into a pool
GIWA Chain launchpads use two main models:
- Bonding curve — the token first trades on the launchpad's own contract. The price follows a formula: it rises as people buy and falls as they sell. When enough ETH has gone into the curve, the curve is complete.
- Direct pool launch — the token is created together with a Uniswap V2 or V3 pool and trades there from the start, with no curve.
Some launchpads pair their tokens with ETH and others with another token. In GiwaTerminal you always pay and receive ETH: the route through the pair is handled automatically (see Buy and sell).
What graduating or "bonded" means
When a bonding curve completes, the token graduates: its liquidity moves to a regular pool and it keeps trading there. In GiwaTerminal the token moves from the Bonding column to Bonded. Tokens launched straight into a pool never had a curve, so they stay in New and never move to Bonded.
Every GIWA Chain launchpad in one place
Instead of opening each launchpad's site, Trenches shows tokens from all supported launchpads live, side by side:
- Each supported launchpad is a filter chip: show or hide its tokens with one click, per column.
- Filters for market cap, holders, age, volume, curve progress, dev and top-10 share, snipers and bundles apply to every launchpad at once.
- Search by ticker, name or contract address and filter the results by launchpad.
- Buying and selling work the same way on every launchpad, curve or pool, with the fee charged in the same transaction (see Fees).
Tokens from unidentified launchpads: "Unknown"
New launchpads keep appearing on GIWA Chain. If a token trades on standard infrastructure (a Uniswap V2 / V3 pool) but comes from a launchpad we haven't identified yet, it's shown as Unknown. It's still indexed and can be traded like any other token.
Frequently asked questions
Which launchpads are on GIWA Chain?
Every supported launchpad appears as a filter chip in Trenches, so the list in the terminal is always current. Tokens from launchpads we haven't identified yet are shown as Unknown.
What's the difference between Bonding and Bonded?
Bonding tokens are still on their launchpad's bonding curve. Bonded tokens completed the curve and now trade in a pool.
Why does a token never move to Bonded?
Its launchpad launches tokens straight into a pool, with no bonding curve, so the token stays in New.
Can I trade tokens marked Unknown?
Yes. They trade on standard Uniswap V2 / V3 pools and are indexed like any other token.
